Dotko is an MSME B2B payment-trust, GST-verification and credit-risk platform for Indian businesses, with the website and app built by brandstac, GST APIs integrated, and decisive product ideas contributed.
The problem
Indian MSMEs carry large volumes of delayed and unpaid receivables — the GAME–FISME–C2FO Delayed Payments Report 3.0 (November 2024) put ₹7.34 lakh crore locked in delayed payments to MSMEs as of March 2024 — and businesses need a fast way to judge whether a trading partner can be trusted.
Dotko provides instant GSTIN verification and a dynamic GST trust score (0–1000) computed from GST compliance, peer trade validation and dispute history, plus trade and unpaid-invoice reporting to flag defaulting buyers or suppliers.
The modules
A React 18 + Vite + Tailwind merchant web app with Vercel serverless functions handles GST OTP send/verify via Sandbox GST APIs and a WhatsApp gateway, live taxpayer and return-filing history, the trust-score engine, trade logging and phone auth.
A Next.js 15 + TypeScript admin and moderation portal on Firebase Firestore manages dispute moderation, a user KYC directory, notification logs, a Tiptap blog CMS and lead tracking. A public marketing and legal site carries the "Dotko Verified" trust-badge generator, a blog hub on MSME credit compliance and Section 43B(h) payment rules, and app-store compliance pages.
brandstac's role
We built the website and the app, integrated the GST APIs, led the design and proposed decisive product ideas — including embeddable "Dotko Verified" badges vendors can place on their own sites.
